WE NEED YOUR HELP

On reading the introductory page, we hope you'll see that Caithness Horizons is a celebration of the whole of Caithness.  We are delighted to be able to encapsulate the treasures of the area in the refurbished Thurso Town Hall and Carnegie Library, while cross-promoting many other visitor attractions throughout Caithness to the benefit of everyone.

Opening later this year, work is progressing well - in fact you can track our progress online.

The project has already attracted financial support from its three founder members - Thurso Heritage Society, the Highland Council and UKAEA - as well as assistance from a wide range of funding bodies including the Heritage Lottery Fund, HIE Caithness and Sutherland, the European Regional Development Fund, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, Historic Scotland, Scottish Natural Heritage and the Queen Elizabeth Castle of Mey Trust.

Inevitably, with a project of this nature, there is always the need for additional capital investment and, if you'd like to be part of this inspiring new build, here's how you can help.

As we approach the 'fitting out' stage, we've identified the cost of a number of key display items still to be bought.  Purchase of any of these would result in the buyer receiving due recognition of their contribution through appropriate advertising - either on the individual item or on a collective listing of sponsors.

With an estimated throughput of 30,000 visits per year to our free attraction, we can guarantee your advertising will receive significant attention.

Thank you for taking the time to consider our project.
