Silver plated cigar box in the form of a gun carriage, with hardwood base and silver plated wheels and handles. The lid of the cigar box has a cannon and five cannon balls. The mouth of the cannon is wide, possibly for holding matches. One side of the box has engraved “Presented by the Countess of Caithness to the Caithness Artillery Volunteer Association, October 1877”.
